 The Krystal Model Tray has been so designed that compensation is made for die stone expansion and  complete certainty of  re-seating of dies is  accomplished. The Krystal Model Trays is used  as a closed bottom tray during the model pouring process and then, by removing the specially designed tray base, as an open bottom tray which ensures complete, and accurate, re-seating of the dies. The open bottom tray aids with the control of die stone expansion.
